Admission Criteria and Referrals

The Early Parenting Unit accepts referrals for parents with children aged between birth and 12 months who would like assistance with: Developing parenting skills and increasing confidence. Reducing stress and anxiety. Enhancing parental enjoyment. Developing sensitivity of a child’s cues/signals. Families can be referred to the Early Parenting Unit by: Self referral. Maternal and Child Health Nurse. General Practitioners. Other Health Care Practitioners and Facilities.
