Kooweerup Regional Health Service provides the following residential care facilities for the local community:
- Westernport Nursing Home is a 20 bed High Care facility.
- Killara Hostel has 26 general beds and 14 fully secure beds for residents suffering from Dementia as well as two Respite beds.
- Residential volunteer program.
- Respite Service.
Our services are provided to all members of the local community who live or work in the Westernport region.
The overall objective of Residential Aged Care Services is to provide a homelike environment that continues to enhance life and social interaction and where innovative lifestyle programs are under pinned by person centred care for people requiring specialised 24 hour nursing care.
A continuous improvement plan is in place to ensure Policies, Procedures and Aged Care Standards are met, ensuring the delivery of quality care at all times. |
